In this podcast I talk about my research from the VR School Study on empowering students as VR content creators across a range of subject areas including science, second language learning, performing arts, and geography. The focus is on using ‘no code create’ sandbox applications like TiltBrush, Minecraft VR and VRTY 360 tour creator. I discuss the evidence for learning, curriculum design and pedagogy and points of friction. I also presented a paper on this at IEEEVR 2022 KELVAR Workshop. It was recorded by the Immersive Learning Research Network’s Prof. Patrick O’Shea in March 2022.
